ASSORTED NECKLACE
What you need:
-2 chains of same colour but different thickness
-Pearls
-Either a pendant or brooch(i used a pendant)
-Thread
-A smooth strap

Steps:
1.Thread the pearls making sure the thread can hold them in place and leaving some extra thread on the ends. You can create a pattern for more detail like I did.
2.Measure the length of chains you need .The length of the thicker chain should be slightly longer than the threaded pearls while the smaller one should be shorter in length by more than a quarter of the measurements. You have the priviledge to make your chain long or short according to your preference but both ways are still good.
3.Now attach together the chains which when holding them up one will be hanging loosely.
4.Place the thread of pearls in between the chains and tie off the thread ends onto the chain ends.
5.Then fix your pendant or brooch  onto one of the ends of the chains...left or right. You could do this by sewing in on or clasping it in,find a way.
6.The last step is tieing on the straps on each end which makes the wearing of the necklace quite simple....Tie them up and leave....Have fun making!

FOR THE LOVE OF THAT OLD BAG

What You Need :
An old bag
Some paint (color of your choice)
Fabric (catchy)
Fabric glue

I thought this one through while folding my clothes!
I have had this brown sling bag for quite some time and obviously I had started finding it boring yet i did not want to let it go.

Steps:
So I first cut away the sling strap ,which will also not go to waste(I came up with an idea to make my little brother some leather suspenders),then
painted the outer part of the bag dull red(borrowed the paint from my grandfather). Use the color of your choice.I had to leave it to dry for over 36 hours in a cool area.
Painting alone was not helping much ,so i took some cute fabric(i cut out of a cute dress top that i bought which turned out to be a smaller size for me)
I carefully glued the fabric onto the front side of the bag then left it to dry for    around 20minutes.
Aaaand now i have a new purse having saved my old sling bag

You can do this to any kind and size of bag,the aim is to have it looking like you have a new interesting bag, and save money of course. You could also use adornments in place of the fabric.
